兩邊有坐著劃龍舟的，中間有站著劃的。坐著劃的叫坐橈，站著劃的叫站橈，稱(chēng)為雙橈。2016年，雙橈龍舟還被列入湖南省第四批非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。
